Colombia Travel Guide - Feedback please

Given the lack of any useful online Colombia travel guides, other than poorbuthappy of course, I've taken it upon myself to write one.

I'd love to hear any feedback.

Maps or links to maps plus typical travelling times to get to these places would be useful.

Also its obviously early days for you but a lot more detail can be fleshed out on these areas. Perhaps turning what you have got into bullet points for easy scan reading and then having some wordy bits underneath to give added detail for those interested in reading further.

I think the English and British tourist boards are excellent for finding and providing information about where to go. Obviously they have huge budgets but the layout and type of information provided is in a good and clearly presented manner. Its worth having a look to see if you can steal some ideas.

Good luck.

It's not about the destination, its about the journey

Well done.

I have only spent a few minutes viewing, so far, but what I have seen is a very credible job.

Since I am still not so familiar with Colombia I will be spending a lot more time there.

Thanx.

I did some web development in the early and mid 90s and remember how much work it was to bench test a large site.

But, one thing I noticed was that clicking on some thumbnails (like the lost city) only produced another thumbnail, at the upper left. Some of the other beautiful fotos could be larger, optimized for bandwdith (although it appears you are already doing that).

Hey PaisaTours - do you guys have tour vans in Medellin? I thought I saw a white tour van the other day in Belen?

trying to walk a straight line on sour mash and cheap wine...

Yes I have spotted that van also. Great bit of publicity for the site - it's absolutely nothing to do with me.
