Colombia SIM cards expire?

Depends if they decide to update there records....I had mine killed because no papers were filed with the sim card...Rule of Thumb if you don't fill up on minutes after a while your taking a chance of the sim being killed..

Yes, this has happened to me also. I would guess they give a you a year, if you don't use it within that time, it won't function. But this is just a guess.

If you have an unofficial, unregistered sim card, you take your chances.
I was told that if you have an official, registered sim, it will be good. You will lose any minutes you had, with a period of inactivity.
