* the countermove for the farc would be to split the hostages up and scatter them all over the jungle. let's hope that doesn't happen.

Ya know, articles like this one piss me off. They promote Chavez' role in the recent release - exactly what he wanted all along - but fail to mention that within 10 days, 6 more people were kidnapped, and an additional 6 kidnap victims were killed by FARC.

Adding one more paragraph, with the latest kidnapping/murder news, could help the world understand a little better what FARC really is....
