We are up to 60 Colombian Olympians. It's a shame the football team couldn't make it, I really don't follow any of the other olympic sports. Maybe basketball, but I don't think Colombia's basketball team made it.

Sixty ain't too shabby, but a country with Colombia's population should be sending about a hundred!

It's sad but they'll come back with maybe one or two bronze medals if they're lucky.

Well, as much as I want them to do well and believe me, I do, historical data backs me up. =\

actually in women's weightlifting Colombia has become a favorite for the Gold as of late.

Simon says on Apr 30, 2008, 13:46:

It's too bad rollerskating isn't an Olympic sport because Colombia would kick ass there as well!

and apparently we have an Olympic rowing team
"Amongst the already qualified crews for the Games, Colombia, Monaco and Venezuela will be trying to get as much practice in as possible, as their Olympic participation will be the first for their country in rowing, and therefore has an even more historic flavour to it than for some of the more “accustomed" nations."
