Colombia as seen through Injun eyes
I’ve seen more than enough posts of Colombia as seen through blue eyes and what they see is a paradise of friendly people and especially friendly chicas.
I get many PM from non blue eyes folks who see Colombia much different. Yesterday, this person was kind enough to share how he sees Colombia through his black mans eyes.
With his permission, here it is:
Hi Elmod my name is XXXXXXX and I am a black XXXXXXX(Caribbean Island) living at this time in Medellin. I must be very honest with you that you hit the nail on the head and you could not be more true than what you are saying on
your thread about´´racism in Colombia-the truth´´.You are very correct and honest about what you are saying. many people would not admit or are not aware of the situation which yoiu describe.
Being a black foreigner i have seen personally how materialistic people are here..i have seen and heard the behaviour of the women here
and especially teh light skinned ones who will not have a relationship with a dark skinned guy be it indian or black unless they have alot of
money and even then it is for them. people are indeed quite racist here, maybe not as much as some places but rather so.. when they see that you are white they jump on you like white on rice-ihave
observed that personally-but when you are dark skinned they make it difficult-they do not give away their´chucu´´ at all...a great many
of them will not even talk to you...here they think that they are better than people too much for a poor country..
Th evast majority of them are only interested in money and getting it from you at any cost...they do not care about friendships..I have met some good ones but not too much to count...i have found it very hard to get any from anyone and i think it is because largely of colour and lack of alot of money. anyway you are a Colombian so you
know best...black jamaican. haitian, cuban forget it-your experiences are better here in Latin America and Colombia when you are white.
most of these white tourist only come for sex and drugs anyway...Colombia is known as a sex paradise and Colombian women are known for selling the. You are right Elmo-if you are white orlight skinned it is easier for you or if you have money...my email

Then you can chat with them using MSN Messenger, now called "Live Messenger" Many even have a webcam so you can verify how they really look like, or you can just send each other pics right through the Messenger program.
