thur says on Jul 4, 2007, 00:48: The 11 politicians were the 11 of 12 that were kidnapped from the Cali Council in 2002 (in broad daylight). The names were known immediately in Colombian media and it was big news. It's still in the news because it seems rather difficult to obtain the bodies from the FARC and an investigation will have to take place to determine how they were murdered. The FARC says in combat and stray bullets, the government says they were executed. - www.pbase.com/thur 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Mr. Hollywood says on Jul 4, 2007, 10:35: I'd have to side with the Gov on this one. Kinda hard to kill 11 out of 11 people with "stray bullets". Sounds like they were murdered.
