Su majestad el Limón Verde!
Not too long ago there was a bunch gringos and a mexican amigo from here were trying to play Conquistadores in Colombia, they wanted soo bad to bring to Colombia their new delicatessen, the yellow lemons. One even claimed that yellow lemon is better with fish.
What a NONSE! But who am I to say so? Let’s listen to the ones who really know.
Seleccionador de Limones
A hi tech device picks up the Limes.
“selecciona los limones por color y tamaño..se seleccionan solo los limones verdes y se desechan los limones amarillos, ya seleccionados se distribuye por tamaño..”
albertoale112, January 06, 2008
The Machine picks up the limes by color and size…Only limes (Green) are picked up and the yellow lemons are discarded, once they are selected they are distributed by size.
Citricorp
Here they come! Meet the LIMES!
Carmona. Qué verde verde limón
Here’s a catchy lime tune…”Que verde verde limon que verde la esperanza de mi pena….”
The Peruvian Cuisine. La Gastronomía del Perú.
The Peruvians know best, they love seafood with limes!
One expert here in pbh claimed that lemons, the yellow ones, are the best for seafood.
Baby eats a lime!
Even a baby knows best!

Paisa/Calena/Luver says on May 2, 2009, 18:40: I think that they taste COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! and for ALL seafood and shellfish I much more prefer the yellow, except ceviche then you must use lime.. Darloup (☼Travelguide writer) says on May 4, 2009, 09:02: Great news adrimm! I hope the tests are conclusive! I say this because, for some reason, Nelly LOVES peaches, but the fresh peaches available in Barranquilla are normally the unripe, rock-hard and vastly over-priced variety imported from Spain.
