SiV don't judge a book by it's cover! Most of the topics are truly trivial, but sometimes under an infantile topic line things start happening...but yes, the site has been slipping a bit; it's got more members and they write like there's no tomorrow, but there are a few changes, like moderators and I think peter is keeping a bit closer watch on his baby too.
By all means, post a good topic and you'll get a debate going.

yo siv... interesting you should mention hot dog toppings...just yesterday a friend of mine was visiting with his daughter (our daughters play together) and my wife, a paisa, made hot dogs for everyone. well, much to the surprise of my friend, his hot dog came with everything imaginable...tomato, onion, mayo, mustard and crushed potatoe chips.

he looked at it in amazement, then at me, and i told him, "eat", which he did; and ya know what? he enjoyed it. (by the way, we're living in florida presently.)

on another note. one morning in rio negro--maybe 2:00 a.m.--a friend of mine and i were surviving after a party and he suggested that we get a hamburger from one of the street vendors off the main park. when the chap had finished and handed us our burgers, i took a bite, looking at my friend, while he took his first bite, and the expression on his face mimiked my feelings exactly. i couldn't even swollow it, it was the most GOD-awful think i had ever put in my mouth. his response was the same.

finally, i noticed one of the proverbial homeless dogs hanging around and i set my hamburger down for one of the dogs who had came over. she looked at it, smelled it, and walked off without touching it........yum.

so, siv, what do you have to add to our site? if not hot dogs, hamburgers, ladies, visas, what? speak up man
