Great Place for bargain second hand clothes, TVs, Microwaves. Those Costenos(as) shop up a storm alongside the Haitian, Cuban Balseras and Central American Ladies. The Only Col Ladies I see in Bal harbor are the Ladies from Medellin&Bogota; they get their Rich American&Cuban Boyfriends to whip out the Tarjeta de Credito(de oro por supuesto) to pay for their Purchases. If they aren't Shopping in Bal harbor, they are in that other Fancy mall located in Adventura, 15 minutes west of Bal harbor. Whats up with this??? ¿Que paso?

The reason you find only ONE costeno for every 100,000 Thousand cachaco living in USA is very simple, most costenos believe that their city is ‘ EL MEJOR VIVIDERO DEL MUNDO��? why go anywhere else
How many new Yorkers do you find living in Haiti, you go to a foreing land cus the one you came from sucks big time.
Look at Europeans, many hated Europe with a passion so they decided to leave that oppressive boring place to never ever return, so they settle in the Americas.
Back in the late 50’s to early 60’s Barranquilla’s population jumped from 600000 to over a million.
And this numbers, I did not googled.
The reason for the alarming increase was due to cachacos escaping LA VIOLENCIA. After my dad saw all these cachacos in barranquilla he decided to get outta curamba, for our own safety.
Most recently our population increased again from over a million to over 2 million, all cachcaos again escaping FARC ELN violence.
We welcomed our cachaco brothers in their time of need and they in turn embraced their new home by speaking like co stenos and not telling anyone where they originally came from, but we could still spot them from a mile away.
