Does anyone know anything about transfering to schools in Colombia? I live in Ft. Lauderdale and am finishing my A.A. degree this semister. I plan to move to Bogota sometime next year to do live with cousins and go to school there (either Javeriana or Los Andes). Does anyone know if the universities there accept any credits from universities here in the states or if I am going to have to start from scratch to get a 4 year degree?????

PGScooter says on Nov 7, 2005, 14:20: I go to school at the University of California San Diego, and I think the following will apply to all of the UCs such as Berkeley and UCLA etc. and most other universities in the US. It accepts credit from ANY accredited institution.. but simply getting credit is not the hardest part, the hardest part is getting credit for REQUIREMENTS. And to do this for many classes you have to do petitions to the department for each class. So save your notes! save your tests! and especially save your syllabi if you have any and write down which books you used.
