400$ Month in Colombia Why don't you stay with Adriana Toro, cell phone: 011573113106858 in Cali. Work out some rent arrangement and be surrounded by spanish. Adri speaks reasonable english. She lives with her mother and sister.
Adri and I have been trying to get married. Got the documents figured out, now we just need time and money.

Opps! I responded to the wrong posting.

However, I do know of College of Alaxandria in Cali.
Very nice private school. If you want the number I could probably dig it out. The lady who runs it is Connie, she is from Flint, MI.

TEACHING IN COLOMBIA!?! derek,
i'm scared to post this in any other forum, but i see that you're teaching (i'm assuming english) in colombia. i'm a young canadian (with no experience) and i'll be finishing a TESOL course september 12th and looking for a teaching position IMMEDIATELY in colombia (i would prefer cali, but i will go anywhere in the country). over the internet it is very difficult (there isn't much advertised) so i'm wondering if you have any advice?!?! lots of people say it's best to just go, and look once i'm there, but i need to be almost 100% sure i will be able to get work....any suggestions or thoughts would be apperciated!
thanks

colegios bilingues There's quite a few bilingual schools in Cali, most of them are located south of Unicentro, either in Pance or in Ciudad Jardín. Colegio Bolivar, Colegio Colombo-Britanico, Colegio Bennett and Colegio Diana Oese are in that area, Colegio Jefferson is located in the north of the city in Dapa. I'm sure there are several others, but these are the more established, traditional bilingual colegios there.
