coke laced with cocaine truth or fiction?

Even that write-up fails to make the distinction between COCA and COCAINE. There are lots of colas throughout S. America that STILL have coca leaf extract in them, which is not the same as cocaine.

Yes, there was cocaine in the first cokes but everything seemed to have cocaine or opium in it back then. Remember "new coke" back in the 80's. This was their attempt at getting away from using coca leaves but it bombed badly.
