I grew up in NYC and I detested drugs even when it was in style all over the city. A few times during while drunken parties in my apt in the Village I did tripped and landed head first on a pile of cocaine, but that was purely accidental. While in Colombia my poison of choice is booze, chicharron frito and 10 peso hookers.

I don't 'blame' the USA for having lots of drug use, I 'blame' it precisely for WASTING MONEY on that anti-drug bullshit. I think that Colombia has better laws regarding drug use than the US on the books, and I think that people who disagree with that are ignorant and stupid.

I don't know much about cocaine, because I also just hate the stuff, but the quality of the weed in Colombia needs to be worked on in a big way. However it's even cheaper compared to here than the cocaine by the sounds of it so that helps make up for it. They need to start focusing on quality now though!

in my modest aged opinion, anything made and put here by GOD, is good. no exceptions. GOD didn´´t make no trash. si o no?

just remember this, the next time you think cocaine is funny. a couple of months before my wife and i got married, we got an emergency call from family there. the one member of the family, who was never mixed up in anything illegal, never drank, never smoked, who basically worked, and looked after thier mom, was shot and killed on his way home from work, not more than 20 minutes after telling the mother in law that he was on his way home, because they mistook him for someone else. almost 2 years now, and the mother in law is still inconsolable. yup, cocaine, ha ha, very funny...

i know what you mean peter, and we did have a good time at the wedding. it's the little things that stick, like having the mother in law hug me on the first day, telling me that one son was taken from her, and another has been returned. just got a little sore since he was killed by the folks who supply that $3 a gram crud. i guess i need to be a little more "colombian" about things. live for today, because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
