has anyone else heard of coal mining in colombia and the people looking for dump trucks to send to colombia and them paying 12k usd a month for the lease of your 18 cubic yard truck. they are looking for 2004 or newer turcks to lease for a minuim one year but the project can go one for 12 years or more.... my thinking is not buy your own truck......unless the trucks are that damn expensive here they would rather lease my truck for the time being.......just need some info on this ............if anybody else has heard about this please inquire freely

nine inch nails says on Feb 13, 2008, 13:53: If you're down there I would visit a few construction sites and ask how they do it. Speak to the Foreman or Project Super. Next step I would check with customs to see what the import fees are. The Hedge funds have all gone wild on us! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Company presently uses 136, 154t-capacity Wabco and Euclid rear-dump haulers. The Colombian end is handled by Carbones de Colombia SA (Carbocol). The other way is by rail to Santa Marta then off loaded onto freighters.
