Hello, I am using a co-sponsor with my K-1 visa. I was wondering how much finacial info will i have to have as well. I dont have tax returns for the last two years. With a co sponsor will this be a problem and will my tax info be needed as well.

scumbuster says on Nov 1, 2007, 06:11: Why dont you have tax returns for 2 years? If you filed them but lost your copys you can get copys sent to you from the IRS. I lost several years tax returns in a move and it only took about 10 days to get copys when I did my K1 application. Its better to supply too many documents than not enough. If your short something they need, it will cost you a minimum of 1 month on your processing time. More than likely several months. Your better off taking your time prepairing your papers and having your application go through, rather than rushing to get it sent in and being short something.

Of course, if YOU report verifiable income the first letter back will ask for the tax returns. If you don't have those reread post above.
