Just one day right before I return back to the states, I had the chance to visit one of the finest Colombian restaurants in Colombian cuisine in Bogotá. The restaurant is among the five best restaurants in Latin America, according to Fox Travel.
Club Colombia restaurant serves typical Colombian food and the music they play while you enjoy regional food is very representative of Colombia. The service is also great.
You can check the partial menu by visiting http://www.harrysasson.com/club.html and clik on "Nuestro Menu" Please, keep in mind that the menu on the above link does not show all the dishes they have printed on their large scale menu or carta, and the large menu does not even have all the dishes from all the regions of Colombia, however, Club Colombia is one of the restaurants where one can find more Colombian dishes than the average restaurant.
As one walks into the restaurant which is complemented with several large fireplaces both on the first floor and second floor and outside the restaurant there is an outdoor dining area, an outdoor café style right next door to Juan Valdez coffee shop. There posted on the wall as you enter the restaurant, there is an article with a culinary message that says something like this, ‘La comida de nuestros padres, o parientes, abuelos y tatarabuelos nos continua delitandonos.’ These are not the exact words; unfortunately I did not write down the whole text.
