Classic Colombian Christmas Music

I need it. I want it. Where can I get it. Send it to me now...por favor. My wife would really enjoy it I think. All I can find around here is Mexican mariachi stuff and that just doesn't ring her chimes; if you know what I mean.

It depends about what you want for Christmas. There are villancicos, usually about the Baby Jesus and such. There's also party music (música parrandera) for dancing and drinking. And guascas/música popular, generally liked by paisas or drinking buddies.

Darloup has a nice thread going regarding Christmas music. You can also go here http://www.discosfuentes.com/epages/Discosfuentes.sf/es_ES/?ObjectPath... to find villancicos and here for party music http://www.discosfuentes.com/epages/Discosfuentes.sf/es_ES/?ViewAction...

Also try http://www.discotiendalatina.com/ where you can purchase individual songs for downloading.

Those are a few of the ones I've heard since I was a kid in Colombia.
