Swinn88, I tried to find the recipe online but I did not find anything. I''ll try to contact some people or look it up in a different place. I hope next time I post I have the recipe.
In the meantime, check out this site, http://deliciosochorizo.com/main.html

Thanks Monpirri, Papi, Campina. I have searched and searched and although I have found many Chorizo recipes I could not find a single colombian style chorizo recipe. I ended up preparing chorizo from the recipe on this site http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Jims-Pork-Chorizo/Detail.aspx, and I will be stuffing my casings tonight. I'll let you know how it turned out.

Monpirri says on Oct 16, 2007, 07:40:

Ooops I forgot. You can try to contact Delicioso Chorizo at the above e-mail address.
But I still have another card under my sleeve, this evening a friend of mine is going to stop by and I'm going to ask her about the recipe for future references, ok.

GIB, we've been having a real hard time trying to find the recipe, can you ask one of your friends in Bogota to see if they have it. I am warning you, it's going to be hard to get it because some may not want to share the recipe, especially if the chorizo is good.

No, no, we or rather Swinn88 is looking for regular colombian chorizo. I think you are talking about morcillas. Do not worry about it you cannot find the recipe because is going to be hard for you to find. Put it this way, this website is supposed to be about Colombia and there none a single Colombian here that has volunteer to find the recipe.

I know what you are saying but take your time, there is no rush.
I hope you do not run into a voltiarepa colombian because he is going to give you the recipe from another country.

Good luck and hasta luego!

Just stay away from the "Soylent Green" brand.
