I don't know why? In all my travels around the world...I've found that the shittier the area the better the food.

Baranoa is a pueblo right after Galapa outside of B/quilla and has great food. Some of the best I've ever eaten is in Soledad, another old town/city located in Atlantico.

now if i hear one of you guys stayin in "la chinita" south Barranquilla then you are with out a doubt one real, lower than a snake, low life, super duper corroncho, dirt poor modefoque and you beat me hands down. la chinita is so fucked up that people from soledad laugh at their poverty and high murder rate.

Galapa My grandfather bought a ranch out there...man that place used to be a no electricity, no sewer system, no water, one story town.

It's grown...it actually has some nice houses...with huge satellite dishes.

Yep, those a low income places...but a lot of good shit can be found in those areas...you just have to be able to control one's habit of being a snob.

Easy Colombiano Divino I think ELMODE is kidding...Baranoa and Galapa are very poor towns full of good people. No one is knocking it at least I'm not.

hahaha And they had these outside canals as their sewer system. Yup, not too long ago it was a God honest shit hole. But Mode the place is picking up. Lots of people that work in B/quilla live in Baranoa and Galapa...I wouldn't live there but B/quilla is getting noisy and crowded.
