Depends which city Have a look at a return ticket from Oz to LA or Miami, then use a website like travelocity.com to search a cheap round-trip fare from the US down to Colombia.

You should compare these results with what your travel agent can come up with, as they may have better options.

From Australia, a round the world ticket will sometimes work out about the same price as a return ticket to Colombia. So you get Europe or Asia for no extra cost and you get more frequent flyer miles.

que nota!

Try taking Quantas or Aerolineas Argentinas to Buenos Aires. And then, try to get a flight from Buenos Aires to Bogotá, either by Avianca or by Aerolineas Argentinas.
