cheap ways to travel from NYC to Bogota

HI...

My husband lives in Bogota, and I live in NYC. I am trying to investigate inexpensive ways to travel from Los Angeles to Bogota and/or New York City to Bogota. Anyone have tips?

Thanks in advance...

Avianca, COPA & American webfares Just go to the websites of all three of these airlines and sign up for the email annoucements of their webfares or special promotional fares. Let your computer do the walking. Periodically, there are very cheap fares for 3-6 day round trips

non direct flights Try non direct flights they are usually cheaper on to Bogota, COPA, TACA. Avianca flies direct from JFK and Continental from Newark. For American you go via Miami and Delta via Atlanta. From Los Angeles try Mexicana, TACA again or Continental via Houston.

NYC to Colombia prices I've found a travel agent online ABS Travel, based in Miami.
They sell tickets from all over the US & Europe to Colombia (Latin America, etc.) I've bought some tickets for myself, and also for family, coming from Latin America to the US!

Just a satisfied customer, not associated with them.

Always check with different online sites, to make sure you get a good deal. Doesn't hurt.
