Cheap Living In Colombia

I am wondering if any of you have suggestions for cheap housing in Colombia (Bogota or elsewhere in any city). All I am looking for is somewhere that has running water and a bed. If it is of any relevancy I am olive skinned so not the typical gringo and am a college student. Lastly, how would I go about contacting other group members.

Medellin, Cali, Bogota, Cartagena... any of the cities
(small towns too granted they are reasonably at peace)

Please post cheapest housing arrangement suggestions
you may have. Whether renting space in someone's house
or the top of a club...etc

Specify Not that I can help, but it would be useful for those who are able to...
1) What sort of a place are you looking for? Bedroom only, no meals? A studio apartment? Room and board?

2) What part of the city are you interested in living in - where will you be studying? Bogota is *massive*

3) What do you define as cheap? COP or aprox USD.

Actually I have no preference as long as the place has running water
I am looking for rent under 200 dollars a month. If possible.

I am looking at a number of schools but in general I would like
to live anywhere in all of Colombia.
