cheap flights from Bogota to Buenos Aires....or roughly that part of SA.....

Hi, I am trying to book a flight from Bogotà to BA and I have met some people who said that it`s possible to get a return for about 250 USD, but I can`t find where!!
Does anyone please have any info on where I can find cheap flights or maybe an alternative travel route(ie through Bolivia then get the bus, or maybe Santiago etc) or flight companies who don`t charge the earth cos you are foreign? I gotta leave Bogotà in a few weeks, so I need to book my flight asap.
Any help or advice is hugely appreciated! Thanks!

Taca, Lan, and Avianca will do this, but it's usually at least $650 round trip (very little discount for one way if any). This time of year I doubt you'll find much better, in fact I can't find anything under $800. Santiago is usually about the same.

You can go round trip from Lima, Peru to BA for about $300. It's about 48 hours by bus from Bogota.

try flying out of Medellin on TACA or LAN. They have been doing some great specials lately but not sure if it is too late to get on one of those.

Try Copa Airlines, I'm going BA to Medellin soon, and they connect in Panama City.

TACA and LAN are usually the best. I just did a round trip for $333 including tax and all airport fees. The problem is that fares bounce all around. If you have time, sign up on Faircast and they'll send you an alert when the fare changes. When I started looking it was $750 round trip, then it went down to $486 and later to $340. I bought the $333 TACA (because LAN only allows one free bag--a total of 50 lbs rather than two on TACA). The day after I bought the ticket, LAN was up to $922 PLUS tax, and TACA was $870...
