Cheap Airfares

there are a lot more cheap options for flying in Colombia these days, one of these is Medellin - Bogota where there are now about five/six airlines doing the route.

I just this second bought a ticket for 100.000 pesos one way with tax... the cheapest ticket youll find in Colombia, one way to Bogota from Medellin.. www.easyfly.com.co
it helps to ring up the airline with there 18000 number to find a date when they have the cheap fares.. good luck

We have used EasyFly in the past, but their planes seem kind of long in the tooth and they are a small, new company that may or may not have a good maintenance program.

Aires also has some good fares at 60.000 plus tax. We recently bought a ticket at that price. It ends up costing about $100.000 more for the round trip than EasyFly, but we felt it was worth it.

Of course, the stewardesses on EasyFly wear short shorts and high heels for a uniform, so that isn't bad.

Another nice thing about Aires is that they have a good online reservations that lets you pay with US credit/debit cards without charging you the dollar premium like Avianca.
