I need a little help. I have a friend that lives in Bogota. I want to buy her a Nokia 7373 (the pink one...lol) cell phone. I have had no luck at purchasing one online from one of the sites listed on here. I have tried to buy something from "the Colombian e-bay" and was not happy with the modes of payment. Anyway, I can not find the phone on any of the online sites that are listed on here in posts. I would really like to buy one online and have shipped there. Preferably a Colombian location, but if I continue to have no luck with that, could I purchase an unlocked phone here, US, and take with me down there in a couple of weeks and it function properly. Thanks for your help and any suggestions.

Saltador says on Aug 12, 2007, 19:31: Why not just buy one off of ebay? I did a search and there are 48 unlocked ones on there right now. It is a pricey phone however, about 200 dollars. Would cost you more than that for sure in Colombia....

PurpleFrog says on Aug 16, 2007, 15:20: Thanks for the information. If you buy a phone for Colombia, make sure it operates on 850mHz. I noticed that only phones that operate on that frequency work in Colombia. I noticed right BEFORE I pushed the BUY NOW button on a phone I was going to buy on E-Bay. Thank you.....Goodnite Now! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
