Naay, I'm passing! Way too Hot out in the middle of that Big Treeless shadeless Field! Today, now around 2 pm, is one of the Hottest days in Miami so far this summer! One good thing they dropped the Entrance fee from like $25 or $35 last year to $15 this year. They found out that people just wouldn't go along with those High ticket prices in an un-airconditioned venue.

It was ONE HOT DAY yesterday and that Col Festival is located in the Middle of a Large Treeless Field with no relief. Other Countries(peru is one) have moved their Festivals inside under AC and NO chance of rain. At Bayside Market near downtown Miami at least some of the areas are under cover not to mention the next door marketplace has AC, much better place for a Festival. That is where many countries hold their Independence days. The Church I go had a Nice Independence day celebration in the large atrium area after Mass, had Col Food, Foloric dances ect and it started at 7pm so much cooler. And Free, best of all

I hate, hate hot days especially humid ones but I do have to say that with the amount of Colombians in Miami, I'm pretty sure their festivals have to be blast. Never been though but I would love to go some day.
