Catholic Church Wedding Requirements - Singlehood Certificate

Ok, simple question. Can the Certificate of Bachelorhood used for a Civil Wedding be used for a Catholic Wedding? I already have one for the Civil wedding which was used. Now im getting married by the church in colombia and they are requesting this too. Thanks.

Depends on the priest. For me, they had different requirements. The civil certificate had to be from two family members who had known me for more than 10 years. The Catholic certificate had to come from two people who were NOT family members and who could state that I had never been married in the Catholic Church. It also had to be witnessed by a priest. Get your novia to find out what they want.

I think so I think that will work. Just let the priest know. That was all they wanted from me. Then they wanted to speak with my best man and swear that I was single and I was not being forced to marry.
