I am not a big time gambler , but I'll be taking a friend out who likes to go to a casino in Bogota. Are Casinos in Bogota like here in the States , offer free drinks, have poker tables ,and are the slot machines regulated and monitored by the authorities in terms of payouts?
and by the way , which Casino is the best one that locals like to frequent?
Thanks

The one in Zona rosa gets reasonably busy on the weekend nights and its 24 hr. But they are small and pokey - nothing ''vegas like'. Panama is much better for casinos.

Gator says on Jun 18, 2008, 08:11: A couple of nice ones in Cartagena. They are regulated with a cut going to the Territorial Health Company (“ETESA in Spanish). ETESA is the authority in charge of organizing and regulating the monopoly. A monthly cut for each machine/game goes to ETSEA as well as a monthly tax on each slot.
