Cartago

I girl I dated years ago found out I was going to Colombia and has invited me to her home in Cartago. She's married now so staying at her house might be a bit weird.

Anyways, what is the best way to get there from Bogota? I was thinking of going to Cartago and then making my way north to Santa Marta.

Any recommendations?
