I just wanted to post about my current trip to CTG. I arrived back to sucktown Indiana last night. This is my 5th trip down, this time to visit my wife and son.(they moved to CTG. last June)I brought my brother down for his first time and he absolutely loved it!I flew on Spirit Air and had no problems. The traffic is still crazy as hell which after watching the terrified look on my brother was priceless.I had a very nice romantic time w/my wife at the Rosario Islands and Playa Blanca.I have found some improvements in CTG such as the trash has been picked up and the vendors didn't harrass me as bad, maybe I just looked broke. We went out to The Fidel w/friends had a blast drinking and dancing.Just an observation but why the hell did they put a Hard Rock Cafe in CTG.?Do Colombians have a desire to eat a $15.00 hamburger next to Donna Summer's microphone? My wife arranged for the family to visit her uncles farm past Turbago had a blast riding his horses. But everyday my wife and I and my Brother had so much fun felt safe and enjoyed every minute.I even kissed my mother-n-law good-bye which I never do.I can't wait to go back in Sept.this time I'm bringing a friend from work.

cali1010 says on Jul 30, 2009, 17:14: I have stayed in the Rosario Islands in at Hotel Majagua (See link below). Let me tell you that this is wonderful place with cabins that are very modern and comfortable and very private. However, don't expect TV nor internet but you do have electricity for your IPOD. Each cabin has it’s own hammocks and a private patio outside. The cost from what I recall was about 260K per night without food, but it’s was well worth it. One thing that you might want to do if you would like to stay there is consult a travel agency maybe they can get you a full package that includes food and a cabin. In my opinion it’s a small price to pay for a couple days in paradise with your loved one. Ignorance does not discriminate race, age nor gender 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
