Cartagena Sports Bar

This might sound strange...but any of you ex-pats in Cartagena know of any sports bars that I might be able to catch the hockey playoffs at???? I know asking to watch a hockey game at the beach sounds loco but I'll be there next week and need to watch my Philadelphia Flyers!!!!
Thanks.

Try the Loco Gringo in Laguito. It's right across from the police kiosk and near La Dolce Vita.

Shame youre not in Medellin. At Champions Sports Bar tel 3434343, we have every NHL & NBA playoff game. Lots of Canadians come around here this time of year. But your Flyers are making it harder and harder for them to say Go Habs Go! Well have the De La Hoya fight and the Derby on Saturday too.

There is no more Loco Gringo. It has been sold to a couple that have split the local into two parts - one for pizza and one to sell real estate. I don't know if they kept the satellite and wide screen tv, but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. Don't know of any sports bars in Cartagena, but if you go to the Hilton or the Almirante and buy a drink, they might put the game on for you if they can get the network station that's showing it. They have satellite.

Thanks, Blues. Good to hear that the former owner got out. I think he was burning out.
