Consider a day trip to Islas Rosario, on a "fast" boat. I loved the aquaria, which is a short side trip.

Do not drink the water. Unbeknown to me, the water filter in my apartment had not been changed when I asked that it be done. I drank unfiltered Cartagena water for 2 weeks. Never spent so much time on the throne.

Hola!

Cerviche at 2nd Calle in Boco Grande is great! Last Easter weekend was there and they had 10 varieties. The building uses dark blue tile, so easy to find!

There's a little place called La Dolce Vita. Not many have heard of it. Many of the nicer, high class girls w/ high morals and strong family values go there. Be sure to where plenty of expensive jewelry and flash lots of cash, preferably large bills. Shorts are highly recommended.

Dont deal with guys that offer daily trips for isla de rosario on the main street of Laguito. Last month we rent a lancha for isla de rosario y playa blanca. We dealed for 300 pesos. When we returned back they asked us to pay 300 pesos more ,as they said the deal was 300 in advance and the rest at our ....return- it was the first time in my life that i heard something like that for a daily trip- . As you understand the things becamed a little..rough , the argy-bargy unavoidble...as a result the police station in Bocagrande for all of us, talking to kind officer who was....agreed with all of us too...them and us....

What ever CARTAGENA IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES YOU CAN BE....ENJOY IT.

I wish could be there....

Mine was booked by Hotel da Pietro. I probably paid more, but the tour guide picked me up at hotel, and arranged for all tickets.

300 pesos, but you ended up in the police station? That is like 15 cents US? What did you expect?

Sorry, I'd rather pay a lot more.

I paid maybe 50,000, including hotel pickup, fast boat passage, lunch, and trip to aquaria, but no police station.

They must be high class, if they are looking for expensive jewelry and cash, with high bills.
