utopiacowboy says on Dec 25, 2004, 12:17: Well if you say so, it must be true. Thanks for letting the rest of us know before it was too late. We might have ended up like the guy who married a paisa and lived happily ever after. He must be a liar or boring or both. You left out the two gringo millionaires who were in Medellin and couldn't get laid. Do you think they would have done better in Cartagena? pablo says on Dec 25, 2004, 14:32: Bah Humbug and a Merry Christmas to you Morgus. You too Cowboy. Speaking of boring, that post takes the cake. I've been to both cities and think that Cartagena has much to offer but Medellin is anything but. Tell us why you think Medellin is so boring. This ought to be good.

Greg444 says on Dec 26, 2004, 08:40: Why does my comment on Medellin get deleted??? I post a comment theta Medellin is over-hyped and over rated , in regards to gringos finding a wife, and each time it gets deleted.

utopiacowboy says on Dec 26, 2004, 09:05: I found a good wife? Hurrah for me! Of course the road to "Finding a Wife" is much better in Bogota or Cali. Those roads are paved and the one from Medellin is a dirt road full of potholes. I damm near broke an axle on that road. Greg is right, stay out of Medellin. And if any of you disagree, you must be imposter posters who have never left your back yard. Patrick says on Dec 26, 2004, 16:29: Cartagena????????????? I don’t know, according to one poster it will be underwater by next year. Utopia, will you ask Pedro how much he will charge me to move my family to Bogota? Never mind the toilets don’t work there. How about Cali? No good too much gang, violence there. Medellin? But Greg doesn’t like it, ah, but what does he know, Besides I’m married so am not looking for a chica. Anyhow, Peter lived there for two years and he thinks it’s OK, and they have this new Metro Cable thingie and everybody thinks it’s the nuts. BTW, once Pedro gets me moved I’ll help you fix your car. You gota stay off those dirt roads.

utopiacowboy says on Dec 27, 2004, 10:54: Pablo's a gringo too? That explains a lot. What's the name of their taxi driver? They're all using the same girl? Is she inflatable? Can she speak English? I don't know where I got the idea that a gringo could find happiness with a paisa. Thanks to you, we now know that Medellin is a total waste of time and that anyone who says different is a liar. Including that guy who says he's happily married to a paisa! Greg444 says on Dec 27, 2004, 11:17: Medellin Utopia, I never said a gringo cannot find a Paisa wife, but there are much better places then Medellin, for about 95% of the gringos.

go2pr says on Dec 28, 2004, 09:37: Agree, Medellin is overrated ... Medellin is on the way to become, in a few years, like a southern brasilian states (Parana, SP, RS, ect ...) city, where people are (or consider themself) as wealthy, educated, white skinned, the "cream of the crop" in their own country.

utopiacowboy says on Dec 28, 2004, 11:47: Those cities are nothing compared to Pecho Grande, Perra Flaca, Ciudad Elmito, Pueblo Cochito, Verga Larga. These cities are truly out of this world. Anybody who's been disaapointed by Medellin really needs to check those out. go2pr says on Dec 29, 2004, 01:57: Interesting, but these are Brasil cities?? Yep, most in southern states like Parana, Rio Grande do Sul, Goias and SP ..... Medellin could be on the way to look one day (but in a far future) like Curitiba, Porto Alegre, or any southern brasilian city.
