I am arriving in Cartagena this Sunday and have no idea where to stay. Do any of you have good hostel recommendations. I am traveling along with a friend and we're both in our mid-20s so we are looking for a place that has a youthful vibe and is safe. Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The rooms are simple but cool, and the mattresses, pillows, and towels are by far the best we've seen in over a month traveling through Colombia. They also have a great swimming pool in the center courtyard and an awesome rooftop area with nice views. It definitely has the youthful vibe you mentioned, and we had no problems with safety issues.
