I can't find the thread where I wrote last, but yes, of course I know the song. I saw them and Dio in the Meadowlands years ago. Dee Snider was from around where I lived (so were the Ramones). I actually came up with video ideas for "Stay Hungry". OK so I was an odd kid.

Anyhoo, what's the travel plans like? When, where and such? If you're still going to Santa Marta I can give you some ideas, same with Eje Cafetero.

Cool... That's just toooo cool, dude... I am not a heavy metal rocker by any means but I just loved the "Stay Hungry" album. I loved "We're not gonna take it" and "I wanna Rock!" I liked the evil sound of "Captain Howdy" although I was never sure what the song was about. Actually, I still don't know... :) I did like the name and I've just kind of remembered it all these years. What with all the names you need on computers these days, that's a name I've used several times and every now and then, someone will recognize the name....
As for my travel plans, they are Manizales and Pereira this summer. I've chatted with a girl there for about 2 years and I have nothing else to do this summer, so I thought a flight abroad sounded pretty good. And, besides, the photos show the most beautiful scenery and I love nature...I'm really looking forward to it....

Probably better, us gringos stand out a lot here and I can imagine how a pasty white skinny rocker with leather pants and a black sleeveless shirt with long hair in the 80's style would look alongside some campesinos....

I haven't been to Manizales yet, but have heard it is really nice. Others go, but I have yet to see a reason to return to Periera - I see nothing there.

My friend... My friend works in Pereira so I'll be there Monday through Friday and we'll head to her parents house with her kids there for the weekend. I'm from Texas so I'm more of a country dude than a heavy metal rocker. I'm not as thin as I used to be and I look much younger than my age. I'll still stand out in Colombia but I don't think it will be a problem since I'm with a Colombiana...Looking forward to this summer.....Yee-hah!!!
