Has anyone been to Cano Cristales in Sierra de la Macarena? Does it live up to the hype as the most beautiful river in the world? Isn't Macarena controlled by FARC, so I take it that it is it not safe to go? Anyway I was just wondering if any of you have ever seen it?
Thanks

Mr. Hollywood says on Sep 12, 2007, 20:13: I've heard from people in the military that it would be a bad idea to go there right now. Lots of armed people and lots of trafficking/cultivation of illegal things.
