Can you work two jobs on one work visa?

Hi Im consulting professionals on my issues and searching options, but I got some great info from PBH members yesterday, Id love to get schooled again. Im here on a tempory work visa with a major company. Can I legally work at another company as an employee or consultant? ty

It is my understanding it has to be in the same institution-like a class in english and another class in say art. ANY change is reported to DAS including a new address.
