Camping near Bogotá

I'm looking for a place to spend a few days camping within 4 or 5 hours from Bogotá.
Somewhere by a river would be nice... any suggestions?
Thanks!

The termales at Santa Rosa de Cabal would be an excellent choice in my opinion.

Cool.. What is camping in Colombia like? Can you find real bush-camping sorts of places with lots of forest & private, well treed camp spots with outhouses & river-bathing.... or does it tend to be more manicured & landscaped "wilderness" sites scattered on fields, with bath-house showers and flush toilets nearby?

I've always wondered if anyone has seen a travel trailer or motor home?

I'd guess Winnebago's are kind of rare?

I have a fuzzy memory of seeing what looked like a European campervan / Class B RV on this last trip... don't ask me where though.

what about camping in guatavita? near the lagoon, or maybe in the town?

There are places in Guatavita and Tomine but you need to be there and find out.

Near Villa de Leiva there are also some nice places, and others where a few go to try hongos.

I would go with Bill Turley's suggestion. He has a bear, I mean a dog, on site to keep away undesirables.
