If you had a flight connecting in Houston and onward to Bogota on Saturday the 13th, would you make plans now to fly out of New York, Atlanta or Miami or would you wait until a little later on Friday the 12th to see where landfall might be?
Continental said they expect to suspend IAH operations beginning at noon on the 12th and all day the 13th, but they haven't yet officially cancelled flights.
It's a guessing game at this point and there is a risk that remaining seats to Bogota (from other airports) might fill quickly.
