Remember.

These are TWO different parks. Parque del Cafe(National Coffee Park) is more an amusement park, albeit one in a lovely natural setting with coffee history thrown in and here you can see everything related to Colombian coffee,. Panaca is really a National Park of Agriculture and Livestock. There are four or five farms where you and the kids can interact with farm animals. The two parks are not together but travel from on to the other is not to long. BTW, while you are in the area add a trip to Manizales-the scenery is magnificent and one of the most beautiful you can imagine. Also consider a side trip to Palestina. A very beautiful and traditional mountain village. Every Saturday farmers from all around will come here to sell items and celebrate the end of the work week.

The most beautiful area of Colombia. IMHO.

YES i should be more distinct in my description,in regards to coffee park and the parque national de la cultura agro..?I get lazy on vacation.but absolutly its been a while maybe 4 years since goin to cafe and its much more developed than b4. And funny u should mention palestina cuz the wifes family is originaly from there. They feel it´s real hillbilly (they smile humbly)but yes its pure and beautiful as i last remembered.Whata think of Armenia? But now were in Bogota and plannin to go to Santa Marta soon, then back to USA , counting the days to our annual Col. vacation. Thanks for your input. chat later & chao.
