Cali, MIO ridiculo

I remember about 2 years ago all the paraphernalia surrounding the opening of the first MIO station and the sparklingly tarmaced road, wow it looked good, typical marching bands all the glitz and glamour, live TV crews, school kids well dressed proudly playing out of tune instruments desperately searching for their proud parents in the feverish crowd. I took a bus to a shopping Mall called "Unico" 2 days ago along the aforementioned route, and was suprised ( or was I realy) when we got delayed for 10 minutes in heavy traffic while heavy plant, road diggers and trucks etc passed us resurfacing the once proud cali version of the transmilenio ( bogota ) as yet never used ( legally) apart from looney bus drivers, taxis! I've heard the mio busses here will be blue, well I'll get my guitar and play alittle blues for the people that organised ( and still are ) this little gem, and you cant blame the blind mayor anymore he fell from grace a while back. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

The blind mayor couldn't see all the potholes in the roads so they had to get rid of him

I heard there are a couple of lawsuits involving the MIO. Someone told me that is what is holding this up plus the money that is being stolen

surely it cant take an extrañero to solve the problems here in cali, its like common sense, or when your mom screamed " you havnt got the sense you were born with".. so easy

I originally thought that the Mio was going to be a tramway. Now I understand that it´s going to be those articulated buses they have in London. You know, the ones that keep bursting into flames? Great.

still working hard down quinta on the aforementioned but I bet the bus company owners are loving every month more than can get out of the slow almost "pedestrian" progress the mio is taking, and once again what will happen to blanco y negro and many many more buss companies and more importantly drivers that service one of the main arteries from north to south and vica versa. can you imagine the red tape and beaurocracy when affected buss companies propose new routes especially if through opulent otherwise unused barrios where car owners are prevelant ay caramba !
