My husband, daughter and I just returned from Colombia. It was my husband's birthday and we spent a few days in Melgar. We ordered a cake, which was FANTASTIC - the best cake I've ever had! It seemed to be made of vanilla cake and vanilla ice cream at the same time, but not layered. It looked like cake, but somehow the ice cream (which was not visible, but I'm thinking it was ice cream) was mixed in. There was also coconut in the cake. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? The coconut may have been optional.
I'd LOVE to have the recipe!
Thanks!
Susana
