Cablenet --et al

Upon my arrival in Bogota, I will be renting a furnished apartment near Unicentro; the owner says it is cable-ready. How long does it take from my arrival to having the service up and working. I really need to have internet access due to my vonage phone. I read somewhere that it could take a month, so should I have it install before I arrived?
Thank you,
Ines

In my experience Cablenet is pretty quick on the installs and repair calls. But if you can get it installed before you get there that's even better.
