If buying books online (amazon.....) and have them sent to Colombia: are there any tax or custom fees to pay? I assume they are taxfree, but just wanted to ask to make sure. What about books with CD included (for example dictionaries)?

tejasmarcos says on May 15, 2007, 17:40: i had books delivered to me in MDE from Amazon, no problem. the shipping was more, but no additional tax. i think the smaller the package, the less likely customs is to intercept it. anyone else know the skinny on that particular? ie. what is the trigger for customs to intercept your package when ordering online from foreign online retailers? trying to walk a straight line on sour mash and cheap wine... 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
