How long bus, how long flight, costs for each.
And any other information (hotels, overview, etc) greatly appreciated.
Can I fly from Bucaramanga to Santa Marta?

surf17683 says on Mar 29, 2007, 15:56: flights to bucaramanga you can fly from bogota to bucaramanga on either avianca or aero republica, they both have decent online web sites for info. from bogota to bucaramanga it costs about 100 dollars one way and takes about an hour. from the airport it costs about 20,000 pesos into the city. i believe to fly anyway from bucaramanga to say, santa marta, you connect in bogota. i've been in bucaramanga several times and have some friends there, its a pretty nice city, not a whole lot of tourist things to do.

vicshere says on Mar 29, 2007, 16:40: if you can don't fly.....if you really want to see and enjoy Colombia you cant do it in a plane.....take a bus its cheap and you really get to see the country side....bus from Bogotá to Buca. is 50,000 one way on Berlinas...but for me its not the money ....I just wish the bus would stop a few times along the way to take in some sites.....like surf said their isn't much to do here...but there is plenty of good looking women young and old many bars and restaurants and very cheap compared to US prices....its too bad we don't have a beach near by then this city would be the cat's meow listo 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
