I was in conversation with a Colombian in Cali , they mentioned that there were a lot of British People living in Bogota , is this really the case , as I have yet to bump in to any people in my twenty or so trips to Bogota.

fellow brits...... spectre boy, if you get any replies please feel free to pass of the details of any comrades to myself. it would be nice and refreshing to share afternoon tea, nibble on some muffins and scones with jam, peruse a copy of the times & quietly and reservadly discuss the current developing left wing policitcal situation in latin america.

thank you young man

I recently met a Brit... ...who is married to a Colombian who bought a condo not very far from UniCentro in Bogota. He and his wife are retired and have a place also on the coast of Spain.

All the British that work in the BC are mad :)

some of them came to my wedding (two of them were my husband witnesses or Godparents ) I don't think they work in the BC anymore.

when my husband lived in Bogota he used to live with two British council teachers.

I used to go to some of the parties that the BC threw every year, you have to paid for the ticket and everyhting was free in the party. I remembered one in la Hosteria San Gabriel.
