Bringing Yacht to Cartagena

Does anyone know how large of a yacht can be docked in the marinas in Cartagena? I am talking about a private yacht not a cruise ship. Is it a problem bringing chicas out on the boat for some trips to the islands?

I also like to bring my Harley along on the boat. Can I get temporary plates to drive it around?

Thanks for the help!

Yatch You will have no problem with a large Yatch at Club Nautico as you moor stern to in about 24 ft of water, if you have a mega yatch then you will have to dock at the comercial peer close by. It's also OK to anchore. Your Harley will be no problem you can be list it as T/T to your boat, ask your agent about this when you get there. You have to use an agent who will probably meet you out in the anchorage. Cost about $65.00. No problem taking Chica's out for a trip, the only problem you will have is getting them off the boat. You're bringing a Harley to Cartagena? Where are you going to ride it? From Manga to Laguito?

Cartagenajoe... you might want to rethink your approach.

What a word "Yacht" is the hardest word for a latino to learn to pronounce in english. It took me 15 years to realize it wasn't pronounced "as Yatch" (like watch). Funny enough, I heard lots of other Colombians make the same mistake, now I laugh.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, bye.

Have you guys ever been uptown... ... you know, strolled around Santa Barbara, Alhambra in Bogota?

This thread reminds me of this BMW dealership I saw there; seriously - top of the line Beamers, convertibles, sports cars, motorcycles... and you're looking at these things thinking, "There's probably a 40-block radius in which it is safe to drive one of these, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM."

Best to take a subtle approach when trying to wow the locals with your wealth and prosperity, eh? No need to overdue it.
