That may indeed be the reason. But, right now, the strength of ther COP REALLY hurts me, especially, since I was about to acquire a house in Barranquilla. I've lost nearly 20% of my purchasing power since January...

When? When? I just have to tranfer from Europe the house purchase price (about 200M pesos). Not much as a whole, but a lot for me.

So far, I'm chickening out - I've alrady lost 40M pesos when compared to earlier this year - and that's a lot of money for me (remember that we French are tacaños ;-) )

I'm flying back to France tomorrow. Going back to BAQ on July 20th (for about 2 months), going back to France in September, then permanently moving back at the end of the year. Rigth now, we looking at houses. But I guess the actual purchase will be in November or December...
