joeinmedellin says on Mar 26, 2005, 12:22: Our Guerrillas, Our Sidewalks "Our Guerrillas, Our Sidewalks" was a truly fascinating read. The history of violence in Colombia is told through the author's efforts to get his brother-in-law back from the ELN. True Story, by Herbert Braun

Mr. Hollywood says on Mar 26, 2005, 13:56: Cosmic Banditos I loved that book, too (ColX will hate it, since it's about drug smuggling). Weisbacker's 2nd book, "In Search of Captain Zero" also has some scenes in Colombia and is much less slapstick than Cosmic Banditos, probably since it's a memoir instead of a novel.
