Here is nerve for you. Yesterday here in Barrio Chapinero, Cali,Banco AV Villas in a small shopping mall called Gallerias an armed robbery took place, nothing usual about that.
The way it was undertaken however is worth passing note and hopefully of interest to members.
A couple engaged a man in conversion in the bank, after he had been to the cash desk,he then had a gun stuck in his side and was asked to leave the bank and when outside, duly robbed him of his money, they then waived down a taxi and left the scene.Yes, there was an armed guard in the bank and the usual armed private security in the shopping mall.I couldn't quite understand why they did the robbery inside the bank and not outside ,but whatever they did was successful.
Three months before in Banco de Bogota nearby the Mall, a man entered with a bomb and this was also a successful robbery. What was interesting the bank had no security guard then , but one of those doors that you must press the button,to enter the porthole ,the door closes behind you and then the new door opens to enter the bank.On the face of it looked pretty good security ,but as ever if you got the nerve, you got a good chance of succeeding.
Perhaps it is time to have one of those Crime style TV programmes showing mug shots of the assailants on Caracol or RCN ,i am sure it would be more popular than X factor and most novelas, especially if there is a reward!..
